The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
Have you ever wondered what makes you stand out from the crowd? What it is that sets you apart from other people? It might be your involvement with YFC and the things you’ve achieved as a member of the organisation.
But do other people know what you are talking about when you say that you’ve been a club secretary or won a national YFC public speaking competition? Now you can get double recognition for many of the things you do within YFC by completing The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award aims to provide for young people an enjoyable challenge and rewarding programme of personal development which is of the highest quality and the widest reach. The Award is a personal challenge and not a competition against others. Each participant’s programme is tailor-made to reflect their individual starting point, abilities and interests. Young people make a free choice to enter the programme and commit their own time to undertake the activities.
